WOW! What a week! All results of events are now posted Pictures should be posted in the next couple of weeks THANKS AND SEE YOU NEXT YEAR! |
|
PARKING – This year AYOP participants will use the library Parking Lot instead of the lot on the Arena side as in the past. AUXILIARY GYM – Joyce Center’s Auxiliary Gym is located in the basement level at the front of the building. FIELD HOUSE GATES – Use only gates 3 and 4. The Arena side will be blocked off. GRAND FINALE – The traditional AYOP Big Show, with curtains, stage and house band, will be replaced this year by combining the Corps Finals on Friday with key components usually featured at the AYOP Big Show. AYOP HEADQUARTERS – The Joyce Center Monogram room will again serve as headquarters for AYOP and the distribution of awards and AYOP souvenirs. FEE REDUCED – To help twirling families cope with the present financial crisis, AYOP entry fees have been reduced. This is possible by reducing the number of AYOP days from five to four. |
Friendly competition, tradition and prestige. |
| You are invited to America's Youth on Parade, baton twirling's most prestigious event of the year, at the University of Notre Dame. There's no twirling spectacular quite like AYOP. It brings together the best baton twirlers, teams and corps in the world for a series of National and World Open Championship contests - all under one umbrella. It can be appropriately called the "World Series of Baton Twirling." AYOP events are held in the spacious, air conditioned Notre Dame University Athletic and Convocation Center (JACC) and are sanctioned by the NBTA INTERNATIONAL. |
AYOP provides twirlers and twirling enthusiasts the opportunity to make new friends and renew old acquaintances while engaging in a host of important solo twirling and group twirling competitions. It truly sets the pace for the world of competitive twirling! |
| Come and see for yourself why this |
| is the "can't miss" event of the year |
